European Union: Moscow urges to cancel the suspension of the grain agreement

In light of the current global food crisis, the European Union urged Russia to reconsider its decision to leave the UN accord allowing Ukrainian grain exports over the Black Sea.
Moscow announced on Saturday that it had suspended its participation in the Black Sea agreement, which aims to prevent famine and reduce inflation, in a move that infuriated the international community. This was in response to what Moscow described as a significant drone attack by Ukraine on its fleet.

The joint coordination centre, which is in charge of overseeing the execution of the agreement between Ukraine and the EU on the export of grain, has declared that no movement of ships carrying Ukrainian grains was observed in the Black Sea on Sunday.

Moscow requests that the suspension of the grain accord be lifted in the European Union.
