In the FINA Final Open tennis championship on Sunday, Russian Daniel Medvedev defeated Canadian Denis Shapovalov with scores of 4/6, 6/3, and 6/2 to record one of his biggest triumphs.
Following his victory at the Paris Professors, Medvedev’s second title in 2022 ensures that the world will be represented in the first class at the World Association of Professional Tennis players’ final tournament next month.
Dennis was playing brilliantly up until the final score of 4-3 in Group Two, making it the finest match of the competition, according to Medvedev, who aims to have a strong season’s end.
The Vienna Open Tennis Championship is won by Medvedev.
