The European Union and Germany are researching whether to add the Iranian Revolutionary Guards to the lists of terrorist organisations, according to German Foreign Minister Analina Perbuk’s statement on Sunday.
“Last week, we will impose another package of sanctions, and we will also study how the Iranian Revolutionary Guards are on the lists of terrorism.
” The German minister’s comments come after the Revolutionary Guards head warned of the demonstrators that the Sabbath will be their last days in the field protest, indicating that the security forces may increase the intensity of the suppression of the turmoil scattered across the country.
Germany announced last week that it would tighten EU sanctions against Iran and the entrance requirements for Iranians.
Perpuk also refuted the existence of any ongoing talks between Iran and the West over a nuclear deal.
