Three individuals were hurt during an attack on a pro-democracy demonstration outside the Iranian embassy in Berlin early on Sunday morning. German police are looking into the incident.
According to the authorities, a security guard at the embassy observed three guys in masks tearing down flags and banners from a mobile home that was parked close by.
In spite of the officer’s commands to halt, the attackers opened the mobile home’s door and attacked the four guys who were inside, according to the police.
Three housemates were hurt during the battle, she continued. Attackers escaped in a car.
The German News Agency reported that the mobile house carried banners reading “Iranians want democracy” and “freedom of life of women”, a slogan that was widely used in the recent anti -government protests in Iran.
Significant demonstrations of solidarity with the Iranians were also held in Germany and other European nations.
