A suspension bridge collapsed in West India on Sunday, killing dozens of people who fell into a river.
According to the local TV station “Zi News,” there were more than 400 people on the bridge when it collapsed, causing them to plunge into the Macho River in the town of Morby.
The broadcaster aired a shot of individuals standing near the cables of a collapsed bridge as rescue crews raced to save them.
More than 40 people were killed in the suspended bridge fall, the authorities reported.
