Van Dyck loses a “golden chain” in the Liverpool shirt at Anfield Stadium

In the 14th round of the English Premier League, Dutch defender Virgil Van Dyck suffered the first defeat for the Liverpool club by losing to LEDS United (1-2).
The loss against Leeds United by Liverpool yesterday evening marked Van Dyck’s first at Anfield since joining the “Reds” from the Southampton squad at the start of the year 2018.

Before Leeds United stopped the legendary number of the Dutch defence heart at Anfield in Match No. 71, Van Dyck played a “gold chain” of 70 games in the Liverpool shirt at Anfield in the English Premier League without a loss, winning 59 games and drawing 11.

Virgil Van Dyck, 31, of Liverpool, won the English League Cup (2021–2022), the 2019 Club World Cup, the European Super Cup, the Champions League for the season (2018–2019), and the Premier League champion (2019–2020). The English Charitable Shield Cup in 2022 as well as the FA Cup in 2021–2022.
