Ronaldo is in pain: My return to Manchester United is “catastrophic”

Cristiano Ronaldo, a Portuguese international, called his return to Manchester United a “disaster” in a book on his five-time Golden Ball winner journey that will be published next month.

The top scorer for the team in the first season, Ronaldo returned to the team with whom he began his European adventure in August 2021. However, the second season was not as successful as he had hoped due to a number of issues, including his desire to leave because the English team did not compete in the Champions League and even not adopting Dutch coach Eric Ten Hag primarily. Instead, he sat on the bench.

Ronaldo reportedly complained to a club official that what was happening under the direction of the German coach Ralph Rangnik was akin to a “catastrophe” in the upcoming book, which would be published in November.
Ronaldo was dissatisfied by the lack of investment in the team’s training facility and the renewal of it, and he was angry that nothing had been done to improve the status of the facilities since he left for Real Madrid in 2009.

He continued: Ronaldo was shocked by the small number of team players who showed their seriousness in fitness training in order to stay in a decent physical condition.
Since his return from Juventus, the 37-year-old has scored 27 goals in 51 appearances for the English team in all competitions.

My “catastrophic” return to Manchester United, says a hurt Ronaldo.
