Head of Ain Shams Medical Research Center: We learned from Corona that the drug industry is national security

During the conference of medicine and health care in the new Republic, Dr. Awad Taj Al-Din, President of Health and Prevention Advisor, revealed that during the Korona pandemic we participated in several research projects. He further explained that when I was Minister of Health and Population, one of the companies was hesitant to establish a factory in Egypt, but when I met an official, The company encouraged him and told him to establish the factory in Egypt, and the factory succeeded and became very successful.

Professor and director of the Ain Shams Medicine Research Center, Dr. Hisham Al-Ghazali, said: “We will soon witness research in the early stages in Egypt, explaining that we have learnt from the Korona pandemonium.” The integration between medical colleges is one of the many genetic variations that are present.

One of the main lessons of the Corona pandemic, he said, is that the drug industry and its industry are crucial to national security. He also noted that directed medications have attained the highest global sales and severe profitability for their companies. Scientific research is the primary driver for sustainable development and the main pillar of the pharmaceutical industry.

He emphasised that Egypt can enter the genetic mutations of cancer market through scientific research, genetic survey, and pre-clinical research studies, citing the University of Ain Shams University Research Center as one of the pioneering examples due to its ability to conduct basic research on cells, research prior to clinical research, clinical research from the first stage to the fourth stage, and a genetic survey of potential patients.

Due to an improvement in the recovery rate and an efficient economic return to the state, it is possible to target some genetic abnormalities and essential pathways to develop current medications in many diseases, including lung malignancies and muscle atmosphere in children.

This was discussed during the drug business conference, “Medicine and Health Care in the New Republic,” sponsored by Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and titled “Creating Communication Networks and Linking All These Research Centers with the Administrative Authorities and Medicine Makers.”
