The 14th round of the English Premier League competition 2022-2023 will begin at 4:00 pm on Sunday at the “Emirates” stadium with the Arsenal club taking against its Notingham Forest opponent.
This season, the Arsenal team is in first place in the Premier League standings with 28 points, two points ahead of Manchester City in second place with 26 points, and nine points ahead of Nottingham Forest in last place.
Arsenal hopes to defeat Nottingham Forest after falling short against Southampton in the previous round with a 1-1 draw.
Following a favourable game against the Saints in the 13th round, Arsenal offered its first opponent Man City the chance to overtake it as the top team in the English Premier League when the Citizens defeated Brighton 3-1.
However, Arsenal’s mission will not be easy for Nottingham Forest, who succeeded in disrupting Liverpool in the 13th round, and won it with a clean goal despite the appendix of the Premier League competition.
After losing to Eindhoven 0-2 in the fifth round of the European League, Arsenal is trying to avoid surprises and get past Nottingham Forest.
Prior to losing to Eindhoven, Arsenal had already secured his place in the 32nd round of the European League, where he leads the first group standings with 12 points after three victories.
Arsenal will face Qaher Liverpool in a new test in the English Premier League.
