In the last minutes of the game they played on Saturday, in the 12th stage of the Spanish Football League, Polish international Robert Lewandowski guided his Barcelona club to a 1–0 victory over its host Valencia.
In the third minute of play, Lewandowski scored the only goal of the game to prevent a loss for the remainder of the game.
Barcelona raised its score to 31 points to lead the league standings temporarily, with a goal difference from second -placed Real Madrid, which hosts Girona on Sunday.
Valencia, on the other hand, stands at 15 points in tenth position.
With a lethal goal, Lewandowski protects Barcelona from Valencia.
