Kremlin: There are currently no plans to arrange a communication between Putin and Erdogan on the grain deal

In light of Russia’s suspension of its involvement in the grain agreement, the Kremlin’s Dmitry Peskov stated that there are no preparations to set up a dialogue between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Peskov said in a press statement to the Russian “Sputnik” news agency, in response to a question about whether there are plans to arrange a communication between Putin and Erdogan against the background of Moscow’s comment on its participation in the grain deal. Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey in light of the remarks made by Russia over the grain trade.

Due to a Ukrainian attack with marches on the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol, Russia had cancelled its participation in the grain trade today and indefinitely.

There are presently no intentions to set up a conversation between Putin and Erdogan regarding the grain agreement, according to the Kremlin.
