Today, Saturday, Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shi’a Al-Sudani emphasised the need of enhancing bilateral ties between Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
According to a statement, the Saudi Ambassador to Iraq, Abdulaziz Al-Shammari, delivered this during his reception today. He did so by delivering a written telegram from Saudi ruler King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, which included congratulations to the Iraqi Prime Minister on the occasion of the formation of the government and its confidence in the House of Representatives.
Iraqi News Agency claimed that the Iraqi Prime Minister’s media office was “aware.”
The statement added that during the meeting, it was emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to develop them at various levels and fields, in the interest of the two peoples..
