King Abdullah II of Jordan reaffirmed Jordan’s position and support for the safety and stability of Iraq.
The Jordanian king said this during a phone call with Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shi’a Al-Sudani, during which he congratulated the Iraqi leader on his government’s victory in the House of Representatives.
Asserting that Jordan stood by Iraq in its efforts to strengthen its security and stability, the Jordanian monarch stated during the call that his country is eager to continue expanding cooperation with brotherly Iraq in order to achieve the interests of the two countries and the two peoples and serve Arab issues. He also expressed his wishes for the Iraqi Prime Minister to be successful in his duties and for the brotherly Iraqi people to experience greater progress and prosperity.
