Russia: We will put off the Black Sea attacks against us in front of the Security Council

Russia has climbed its accent about the attacks on its fleet in the Black Sea. In addition to the explosions that damaged the Nord Stream pipeline to transport gas in September, the issue of the drone attacks that targeted the Crimean port of Sevastopol will also be brought before the UN Security Council, according to the spokeswoman for the ministry of foreign affairs, Maria Zakharova, today, Saturday.

The Russian side “intends to draw the attention of the international community, especially through the UN Security Council, to the series of terrorist attacks that were carried out against us in the Black Sea and in the Baltic Sea, and this includes the involvement of Britain,” she continued in a Telegram comment.
In response to these allegations, London stated that they were unfounded and made up to hide Russia’s mistakes in the Ukraine.

This followed the Russian Ministry of Defense’s confirmation that it has information on the involvement of British navy personnel in drone assaults that previously targeted the Russian fleet in the Crimea, as well as in the sabotage activities that were targeted by Nordstreim 1 and 2 on September 26.
It is reported that Moscow had previously blamed the West in those bombings that shook the bottom of the Baltic Sea.

While Russian government representatives have often suggested that Washington has reasons for carrying out such sabotage, particularly as it attempts to sell more LNG to Europe. However, the United States categorically refuted this charge while implying Russian complicity.
On the 26th of the previous month, four significant leakage operations occurred in the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipeline off the Danish island of Bornholm, two in Swedish economic seas, and two more in Danish waters.

Russia’s 2014 annexation of the Crimean Peninsula resulted in the largest booby-trapped drone assaults there since the conflict between Russia and Ukraine began on February 24.

In front of the Security Council, we will postpone the attacks against us in the Black Sea.
