Japan’s Fujitsu Research Institute and Japan’s Riken intend to jointly introduce quantum computers in the fiscal year that starts in April 2023, according to a report published on Monday by Nikkei Asia. In Japan, where foreign businesses, led by Google, have dominated the research of quantum computers, which are regarded as next-generation computers because they can increase industrial competitiveness, Fujitsu will be the first Japanese company to build them.
