Africa remains a top priority for the European Union, according to Petra Beria, the new head of the team of the EU in the Republic of Botswana and Sadak’s ambassador.
Speaking, during a friendly visit to the Acting Commissioner of the Zambian High Commissioner at Botsona, Breton Litola, Ambassador Beria said that Africa has tremendous potential for economic growth, according to the newspaper “Lusaka Times” issued in Zambia today, Saturday.

“We appreciate your acknowledging the European Union as a crucial strategic partner for Zambia, and we naturally expect that other nations in the southern region will do the same. The European Union considers it important that we seek to record the connections between all of our African partners on that continent.

“Africa is still a priority for the European Union, she continued, adding that the continent also has a great chance of experiencing economic progress and being able to meet current global issues.
