According to a recent urgent broadcast on Al-Arabiya TV, 777 people have died in Pakistan as a result of floods in the previous two months, according to Pakistani officials.
Previously, when a military truck crashed into a valley in northern Pakistan, at least nine Pakistani troops were killed and four more were hurt.
The damaged truck was a member of a military convoy that was on its way to the town of Mang Bagri in Pakistani Kashmir’s Bagh region at the time of the tragedy, according to a statement released by the Pakistani army’s media department on Sunday.
Shahbaz Sharif, the prime minister of Pakistan, expressed his sympathies to the disaster’s victims and hoped those who were hurt a speedy recovery.
Around 777 Pakistanis were killed by floods in just two months.
