The first book of the Central Administration of the People and Cultural Committees, the Diwan of “Light of Cabbet” by Dr. Adham Mutair, was recently published in the series under the patronage of Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, and the Secretariat of Professor Dr. Hisham Azmi. It was also published under the presidency of writer Mohamed Abdel Hafez Nassef, head of the Central Administration of the People and Cultural Committees.
The Diwan is concerned with the poem, its books, mastery in the vertical form, the active form, and the contents of the poems between love, dream, meditation, and death, which are axes that appear to be predominating in contemporary poetry. However, each poet has his or her own visions in every axis, and our poet flows with a sense of poetry. His poems have deposited his culture, visions, and life philosophy, and with all these subjects that give him a constant obsession, he expresses it with the youthful poetic energy he possesses, trying to create new meanings and images. This is unique in young people’s poetry, and he is the only voice in his generation.
