Biden visits the ASEAN Summit 27
The US President will go to Cambodia the following day to attend the ASEAN Summit on November 12 and 13.
According to the White House, Biden will take part in the annual meeting between the US, Asian, and East Asian nations.
As he emphasises the significance of cooperation between the United States and the ASEAN countries in securing stability and prosperity in the area, Biden will in Cambodia reaffirm the United States’ unwavering commitment to South Asia, according to Jean-Pierre.
G20 Meeting Biden will continue his international trip when he attends the G20 summit in Bali, Indonesia, from November 13 to November 16.
Harris travels to Asia and Africa
Following Vice President Biden’s trip, President Kamala Harris will also visit Asia and North Africa, according to the White House.
On November 18 and 19, Harris is slated to fly to Bangkok to attend the summit of the Economic Cooperation Forum for Asia and the Pacific (APEC), reaffirming Washington’s commitment to economic cooperation in the Indian and Hadi regions.
The White House announced that Harris would also head to Manila, where it talks with officials and members of the civil society.
