US Vice President Joe Biden will attend the “COP 27” climate summit in Egypt next month, the White House confirmed on Friday.
He stated that Biden would take part in the summit on November 11 before travelling to Cambodia for the annual meeting of the ASEAN Group and then to Indonesia for the G20 summit.
Biden would base his participation at COB 27 on “the outstanding work that the United States accomplished to advance in tackling climate change globally,” White House spokeswoman Karen Jean-Pierre said in a statement.
The globe “must move during this critical contract,” she continued, and Biden will confirm this.
