The United Kingdom condemns the latest North Korea missile experiences and urges it to return to diplomacy

The launch of short-range ballistic missiles by North Korea earlier today was denounced by the UK.
In a press release posted on its website, the British government said that the country is working closely with its allies to persuade North Korea to resume diplomatic relations and take concrete actions toward complete, verifiable, and irreversible nuclear disarmament.

Britain called – according to the statement – North Korea to give priority to the welfare of its people instead of seeking to possess nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
She continued by saying that North Korea’s missile tests clearly violate UN Security Council resolutions.

The latest launch in a year that has seen an unprecedented number of launches, whether for short-range missiles or continent-crossing ballistic missiles, the launch comes at a time when there are concerns that Pyongyang is getting ready to conduct the first nuclear test since 2017.

The United Kingdom asks North Korea to resume diplomatic relations and denounces its most recent missile tests.
