Arbitration expert Jamal Al -Sharif: Al -Faisaly penalty kick is correct

News from Al-Madinah: Due to the judgments of the Uzbek referee, Azizov, the El Clasico match between Al-Wehdat Club and its opponent Al-Faisaly on Friday, in the 21st week of the Jordan Football League, raised numerous doubts among sports enthusiasts.

The arbitration expert, Jamal Al -Sharif, revealed his opinion of calculating a penalty in favor of Al -Faisaly in the first half, by saying: “It was a clear penalty, after the units defender extended his foot and his right leg towards his opponent. ”
Al-Wehdat club defender used his leg to block Al-Faisaly striker’s right leg, hence the decision to award a penalty was appropriate, the speaker said.

According to Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed, Jamal Al-Sharif, a former international referee, responded to the units players’ demand for a penalty kick in the first half by saying, “The decision of the referee was true that there was no penalty for the units because the unit player was able to change the path of the ball with his right foot, from the left foot of his opponent in Al-Faisaly.

“The Al-Faisaly player’s left foot was in a stable position, and after turning the ball with his right foot away from his opponent, the units player moved his left foot and shocked the foot of the fixed defender, so there is no obstruction, and the referee’s decision to not assess a penalty for the units is correct.”

Jamal Al-Sharif, an arbitrator, says the Al-Faisaly penalty kick is accurate.
