During Lebanon’s civil war, my father founded this association as a club, and when many Lebanese joined it because they were tired of the war, it was converted into an association, and he reserved a seat for him at the United Nations, and I focus a lot of my activities on this association because I consider human rights to be one of the lofty things.

Diane Abi Allam co-stars in the sitcom “The Wrong Direction” with actor Tamer Negm, and this is their first starring role together. She has completed two films, one of which will be released on the “Netflix” platform.

In this interview, Abi Allam discussed her artistic newness with Al-Rai:

– I will appear in the series “The Wrong Direction,” which is currently filming, and I also participated in two cinematic works, the first of which is titled “Big Lie,” directed by Nadim Muhanna, and we finished filming it last year, but it has not yet been shown, and my role in it is very beautiful, and Fouad, Yameen, Wahba Nour, and others participate in it.

I also recently concluded filming my second film, which is produced by a Belgian firm and directed by Mahdi Kandil. Production firms in Lebanon

– The plot of this film is handled for the first time in an Arab work of art, and it explains what goes on behind the scenes of production firms, and I expect this work to spark a lot of debate.

– I don’t believe the actor has been treated unfairly because everything is due to his hard work, diligence, and ability to develop relationships in the middle. I do not believe in extreme unfairness being perpetrated against any actor, especially when Lebanon has various production companies and the artist must know how to take possibilities because he must have the appropriate opportunity, if not from this firm, then from that. Everything is tied to the actor and his personality, as well as the way he works on himself and his capacity to develop excellent relationships.

There are several actresses. I adore Nadine Njeim, Cyrine Abdel Nour, and Nadine Al Rassi, and Haifa Wehbe is an excellent actress. I believe her to be the first successful artist, and every successful artist must have the required components to assist her flourish.

– I don’t have a certain name in mind, but I like to borrow something from each actress.

– Each actress has something that sets her apart from the others, and no two are same. For example, I admire Nadine Njeim’s experience and insistence on developing herself, her experience, and her ability to advance, and Cyrine Abdel Nour is good at choosing her roles and what suits her, and she knows how to force her name on the artistic scene, and she affects us when we watch her and sympathise with her.

Nadine Al-Rassi, on the other hand, is a fantastic actor with exceptional talent and a keen sense of humour. Haifa Wehbe is a true Diva who is more than lovely.

– “The Wrong Direction,” a 100-episode television series. The series is written by Zina Abdel Razek, directed by Elie Maalouf, and produced by the “Phoenix” business, with a big number of Lebanese actors participating, including Fadi Ibrahim, Saad Hamdan, and Asaad Rashdan, and will take a long time to shoot. In addition to the movie, which will soon be available on “Netflix,” it is quite difficult.

My organisation, the Permanent Peace Movement, is similarly concerned with human rights and nonviolent conflict resolution.
