The late Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish’s works and experiences will be on display at the 41st Sharjah International Book Fair through the institution that bears his name. This is the Foundation’s first participation at the level of Arabic book fairs. The 41st Sharjah International Book Fair runs from November 2 through November 13, and it has designated special pavilions to display the works and experiences of the late poet.

The Foundation’s pavilion will feature Mahmoud Darwish’s poetry, prose, and various media materials, as well as a screen that plays clips from the late poet’s poems read aloud and displays a brief video of his life. The pavilion’s managers also engage visitors in open discussions about the significance of Arab creativity in both Arab and international cultural life.

The Foundation also takes part in the Publishers Conference, and its wing, in addition to the late poet’s works and books, includes a definition of his creative biography and thorough information about his prolific output, as part of the institution’s effort to share experience, experience, and protect intellectual property rights for Mahmoud Darwish. The late poet’s works that have not been translated before are also transferred to international languages by the Foundation.
