Saudi Petroleum Trading Trading discusses its entry plans for the Egyptian market

The plans of the company after agreeing to enter the Egyptian market and offering its specialised services in catering aircraft with fuel as well as the trade in lubricating oils were discussed by Mohamed Ali Reda, Executive Director of the Arab Petroleum Medicines Trading Company (APSCO), Saudi Arabia, and his accompanying delegation with the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tariq Al-Mulla.

According to a statement from the Council of Ministers’ media office, Al-Mulla acknowledged during the meeting that the Saudi company has extensive experience in the sector of aeroplane fuel and lubricant oils dating back more than 70 years.

The Minister welcomed the company’s desire to invest in the Egyptian market in this sector and its willingness to offer its expertise, whether in the field of plane supply or in areas such as digital transformation and emissions reduction, among others. The Minister also added that Egypt has unique opportunities to expand in the field of aircraft supply with fuel, particularly in light of the recovery of tourism activity, whether inside or outside Egypt.

The meeting witnessed a review of the activities of the Saudi company, as it exercises aircraft supply activity in more than 40 airports, whether in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or in the Middle East and Africa regions, as it is considered the exclusive provider of aircraft fuel for Saudi Aramco and the strategic partner of Exxon Mobil in Saudi Arabia, in addition to reviewing plans During the upcoming time, the company will be in Egypt, and it has global expansion goals in conjunction with Egypt Petroleum Company.

For his part, the company’s CEO reaffirmed that Egypt is at the top of its priority list for expanding its operations into new geographical areas, and that it plans to make significant investments in the Egyptian market, particularly in the area of aircraft supply, citing the strong support the company has received from the Saudi government to enter the Egyptian market.
