Doubts about the readiness of Benzema and Valverde to face Girona

Press sources highlighted the recent incident involving Uruguayan midfielder Vedi Valverde and star Karim Benzema of Real Madrid, stating that they were not fully fit for today’s Real Madrid practise and that it is still doubtful whether they will play on Sunday against Girona.

According to the Spanish News Agency, Benzema only took part in a portion of the team’s training session today as he continues to heal from the injury that has already prevented him from competing against Seville in the Spanish League and Leipzig in the Champions League.

While Valverde worked out both indoors and outdoors, he did so by himself in both instances. Valverde’s participation in the contest will depend on how he does at the end of tomorrow’s practise.

The condition of Danny Sebayos and Mariano Diaz, who may be added back to coach Carlo Ancelotti’s roster for the match against Girona at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, was trained by the Croatian Luka Modric, who did not fly to Leipzig on Tuesday with the rest of his teammates.

In a related context, Florentino Perez, President of Real Madrid, regained his recovery again after performing a surgery, and visited the training of the royal team on Friday morning, which is preparing to face Girona next Sunday.
Florentino Perez, president of Real Madrid, had surgery on one of his lungs, therefore he was unable to attend the most recent Champions League encounter between the royal squad and German Leipzig.

According to the Spanish publication “Marca,” the Real Madrid president underwent surgery, fully recovered, and today, Friday, paid a visit to the first team during practise.
The publication had stated that Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, had undergone lung surgery and was stable, but he had taken a few days off.

Notably, the Real Madrid President’s operation prevented him from travelling to Germany with the Royal Mission to play the final Leipzig squad in the Champions League group stage, which the club lost 3-2.
