According to Russia Today, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia is always concerned with stability and helps Armenia on security concerns at the Organization of the Collective Security Treaty meeting.
The organisation indicated that during this special session, organisational measures will be discussed to assist Armenia as well as the outcomes of the work of the Mission of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. President Putin participated via video technology in this meeting, which was organised by Armenia to discuss the situation on the border with Azerbaijan.
Putin stated: “As everyone very well knows, Russia usually looks at the historical component, is interested in stability, supports Armenian allies, and works to secure the security of the Armenian people since antiquity.”
On the initiative of the Russian side, triple talks will be held between Russian President Vladimir Putin, Azerbaijani, Ilham Aliyev, and Armenian Prime Minister Nicole Pashinian in Sochi, October 31.
The implementation of the tripartite agreements between the leaders of these nations, signed on November 9, 2020, January 11, and November 26, 2021, as well as issues of reestablishing trade and economic relations as well as transportation methods and their development, are all expected to be covered during the talks.
