According to press reports, South African Pittsu Mousimani, the Ahly Jeddah team’s technical director, requested that the Saudi Al-Ahly team’s administrative apparatus contact the Al-Wahda and Abha clubs in order to engage in two experimental matches during the break as part of the team’s preparations for the restart of the second division.
According to the Saudi newspaper “Al-Riyadiah,” Mousimani requested four experimental matches during the stoppage period, including two against teams from the Saudi League and the other two against an Oujda team. The report also stated that the coach had escalated some players from the youth level in order to stand a chance. Choose the person who performs best at their level to join the first team.
Specifically because the South African raised its initial technical report for the club’s management, laying out its needs from foreign players during the upcoming winter transfer period, the report noted that the technical staff decided to organise an open camp for the players that lasts for two weeks and includes a physical programme aimed at raising their physical rate.

According to the newspaper, the Al-Ahly administration did not convince any foreign players to leave the team so they could stay focused until the South African coach made his final decisions.
