The UK Authors Association supports 69 writers to complete their written projects

The Authors Association in the UK gave more than 179,000 pounds to 69 authors to support the completion of their written projects. They presently give out funds twice a year to assist authors with the research costs of finding alternative sources of funding for their work.
Hill Iman, poet Laura Theis, and Greek poet and author Constantine Alexander Belintzius are among those who received grants for narrative and investigative journalism.

According to the Authors Association, the projects for which grants were given ranged from those looking for “courage and transformation” in a quadriplegic person’s life to poetry groups discussing the environment and the climate crisis with an emphasis on the value of hope and question, to the history of Britain.

Hill Oman, a writer and journalist, hailed the overview as a “wonderful boosting of confidence,” and Laura Thiss, a poet, called the grant’s usage to cover interview travel expenses a “big certification experience.”

It is noted that the Authors Association is a professional labour organisation for writers, painters, and literary translators in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1884 to uphold the rights of authors and promote their interests, and as of September 2019, it has 12,000 members.

69 writers receive assistance from the UK Authors Association to finish their writing projects.
