The new Pentagon strategy determines the biggest threat to America

While the document released on Thursday stated that a conflict with China “is not inevitable or desirable in it, but it describes an attempt to prevent Beijing’s domination of major areas, in a clear indication of Beijing’s aggressive military reinforcement in the South China Sea and increased pressure on the enjoyable island Self-judgment.

The US military policy also issues a warning that China threatens US relationships in peaceful environments like India by using its expanding force to threaten and coerce neighbours.
The 80-page non-secret report mentions Russia’s conflict in Ukraine while asserting that Moscow poses a severe threat to the United States and its allies through the use of nuclear weapons, cyberattacks, and long-range missiles.

According to the strategy, China and Russia “are increasingly imposing more serious and security problems in the American interior, even in light of the persistent terrorist threats,” as their relationship continues to expand.
Before the release of the defensive dossier, which reflects the US battle with major nuclear-armed rivals Russia and China for the first time, a top defensive officer who briefed the Pentagon correspondents was not named.

The previous defensive plan, which was unveiled in 2018 under the administration of then-President Donald Trump, highlighted the American army’s primary shift away from combating extremists and toward the necessity to get ready for conflict with a major power.

The US defence plan for 2022 places a greater emphasis on allies as a crucial component of American defence, underscoring the administration of US President Joe Biden’s efforts to mend relations with partner nations that Trump has strained.

The notion of “integrated deterrence,” which states that the United States will utilise a variety of military capabilities, including its nuclear arsenal, as well as economic and diplomatic pressures and strong alliances, is at the core of the new statement.
China continues to be the “most important strategic rival for the coming contracts,” according to the strategy, while Russia still poses a “sharp” danger.

The largest threat to America is identified by the new Pentagon plan.
