US billionaire Illon has had access to Twitter management since Thursday night after formally completing the 44 billion dollar acquisition of Twitter.
The removal of four senior officials and managers, including the CEO Parag Agrioal, the Financial Director Nid Siggal, the Director of Legal Policy, Trust and Safety Vijaya Gadde, and the General Legal Adviser Sean Edgeit, was one of his first moves.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the four executives were “urgent” outside the giant’s San Francisco offices!
Perhaps one of the most prominent of these faces, whose name has soon spread like wildfire among the users of the blue bird, Vijaya Jadi, the director of the legal section, who made the decision to suspend former US President Donald Trump’s account permanently, last January (2021).
The Republican President’s account was suspended in May (2022), and Mask called the decision to do so “foolish,” indicating at the time that he intended to lift the platform’s long-standing restriction.
It is noteworthy that the purchase agreement for Tesla was finalised late on Thursday night. The company’s president began his administration by sacking the top executives of the well-known social network, accusing them of deceiving him about the number of accounts that only post randomly to the platform.
According to “Bloomberg” last Wednesday, despite the controversial man’s statement made two days prior, the company’s employees did not want to lay off 75% of their workforce.
