Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir will ‘concern’ royal family

The royal family will be “extremely concerned,” according to one expert, about the Duke of Sussex’s upcoming biography SPARE.
Royal author Richard Fitzwilliams said the title alone – said to reference Prince Harry’s “spare heir” nickname – is “sensational”.

He told MailOnline after the name and release date of the book were confirmed by publisher Penguin Random House: “It is a sensational title and implies that the writer was not valued or certainly that he did not feel at the centre of events. “ The Palace will be quite concerned when the blurb refers to “raw, unvarnished honesty,” especially given that King Charles has just recently taken the throne.

“This memoir, which in my opinion should have waited many years, will definitely be the subject of interviews, serialisation, and infinite conjecture. Even Edward VIII, who was then the Duke of Windsor, held off on publishing A King’s Story until 1951. This will have far-reaching effects that could be very harmful.
According to reports, the royal family was not permitted to see the document.

The book’s release date, title, and cover, which features a 38-year-old Harry with a beard staring directly into the camera, have all been made public. All earnings will go to charitable organisations.
His mother Princess Diana’s passing is strongly alluded to in the book’s advertising blurb, which will be published in January.
“For Harry, this is finally his narrative.

Insight, revelation, self-examination, and hard-won wisdom about the enduring power of love over sadness can be found in SPARE’s raw, unflinching honesty.

The impending memoir by Prince Harry will “concern” the royal family.
