Russia: destroys US missile depot in Odessa

In the Odessa region of southeast Ukraine, the Russian Ministry of Defense declared the destruction of an ammunition store housing Hymers missiles built in the US.
The ministry also stated that a storehouse housing both Russian and Western anti-aircraft weapons was damaged by Kalibr missiles fired from the sea by Russia.
Two missiles were intercepted over the water, according to Serhiy Prachuk, a spokesman for the local government in Odessa, but three of them struck agricultural objectives.

The official further clarified on Telegram that there were no injuries from the attack, stressing that investigators and explosives experts were on the scene of the attack in the granary.
Additionally, it stated that its troops destroyed a fuel station in the Zaporizhia region that carried more than 100 tonnes of diesel fuel as well as two M777 howitzers that were in battle positions in the Kherson region.

The Hymers is a high-mobility missile system with a global positioning system that is mounted on a 66 truck. It is more precise than the Ukrainian artillery of the Soviet era, has a larger range, and comes in two versions, the M142 and M270. strategically minded.
