“From ash and dreams” memory of the Nassibian Studio Theater Fire

The ancient Nassibian Studio Theater, which was completely destroyed in a horrible tragedy last October 31 and shocked cultural and artistic circles, is remembered by the Cairo Cultural Center.

In this context, Jazza Rove Gallery will host the opening of a documentary exhibition about the accident titled “From Embam and Dreams”, featuring works by artists Adel Wasili, Mustafa Al-Dali, and Mahmoud Hamdi. The event will also feature Father William Sidh Al-Yasouei, the chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors for Scientific and Cultural Renewal in Cairo, as well as other notable individuals.

The day’s events start at six o’clock on Monday, October 31 with a reception for the general public and friends of Cairo in the theatre, which association officials worked to run as efficiently as possible because they believed that people were more important than buildings as long as they loved what they did. At seven o’clock, the audience is welcomed by the Jazzan Rove Gallery to officially launch the exhibition.

Except on Sunday, the exhibition will run from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. till Monday, November 14.
