There will be no direct conversations between Putin and Zelensky in Moscow.

News from Al-Madina: Gennady Gatilov, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN in Geneva, has ruled out direct negotiations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
In statements to the press on Sunday, he claimed that he does not see a diplomatic solution in Ukraine and predicts a protracted conflict, adding that there would be no direct conversations between Putin and Zelensky.

According to the Pentagon, the US will supply Ukraine with fresh weaponry and equipment in order for it to launch a counterattack against Russian forces in the country’s south.
The new equipment includes HIMARS launcher rockets, which have been blamed for the destruction of Russian command centres and ammo depots, as well as artillery weapons designed to disrupt supply lines.

According to the New York Times, the present delivery, worth up to $775 million in weapons and equipment from Pentagon inventories, is a strategic armament to ignite the immediate artillery conflict in Ukraine while also assisting to construct an arsenal to enable a counterattack near Kherson.

The current shipment comprises 40 armoured vehicles equipped with big rollers to clear minefields in Ukraine prior to any ground attack, as well as 50 troop-carrying armoured Humvees, 1,500 TOW guided missiles, and 1,000 Javelin anti-tank missiles.
Furthermore, the Pentagon will send more high-speed missiles, known as HARMs, which are air-to-ground weapons designed to seek down and destroy Russian air defence radars.

In Moscow, Putin and Zelensky will not have any direct talks.
