Laporta sorry: I can’t blame anyone

Barcelona president Joan Laporta confirmed that his team’s exit from the group stage of the Champions League “unfortunate”, but he defended his philosophy on the “adolescent project” under the leadership of coach Xavi Hernandez.
Inter Milan defeated Czech team Victoria Plzen 4–0, and the Catalan club said goodbye to the Champions League after that. Bayern Munich defeated Barcelona at home with three goals without a reply.

This is the first time that Barcelona has left the group stage of the Champions League twice in a row since the same thing happened in the 1997-1998 and 1998-1999 seasons under the leadership of Dutch coach Luis Van Gaal.
It’s regrettable, but neither the players nor the coach can be held responsible. Instead, Laporta said to Barcelona TV, “We have to look forward since the Spanish League and other tournaments are waiting for us.”

It is a project, and we have known from the start that we will encounter both accomplishments and setbacks. We must demonstrate our ability to compete in the Spanish League as we still are.
With 28 points from 11 games, Barcelona sits second in the Spanish league standings, three points behind Real Madrid, who have a perfect record.
The Spanish League is crucial and on fire, according to Laporta. The message is to look ahead since this has already begun.

Sorry, Laporta, but I have no one to blame.
