The Supreme Ifta Council in Palestine: The siege of the Israeli occupation of Nablus is a “war crime”

The Israeli occupation’s war crimes in the city of Nablus, including the siege and expulsion of the province, were today deemed “a war crime and a terrifying massacre” by the Higher Ifta Council in Palestine.

The Council stressed that “our people will not be broken by the arrogance and arrogance of the occupation,” calling for international support to stop the aggression of the occupation against the besieged Palestinian villages, cities, and camps, led by Nablus and Jenin. The Council also called for an end to the aggression of the occupation against the Palestinian people and its sanctuaries.

The Council declared that in the face of the smugness and racism of the occupation, the Palestinian people insisted on defending their territories and holy sites with all of their might.

In regards to the prisoners’ file, the council reiterated its call for the need to make constant efforts to support Palestinian detainees in occupation prisons, particularly those who suffer from very serious health conditions and medical neglect on the part of the occupation authorities. In violation of divine law, laws, and international norms, the council also urged the need to uphold our detainees’ human rights.

The council denounced the continuous storming and permitting of the hallowed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Ibrahimi Mosque by settlers and occupation soldiers, as well as the conducting of dance and singing parties in courtyards in this region and around the world.

The Council also denounced the invasion of the Al-Iman School’s “Israeli Knowledge Security” and the cultivation of fear among the pupils under the pretence of stealing textbooks from the Palestinian national curriculum.

The Israeli occupation’s blockade of Nablus is a “war crime,” according to the Supreme Ifta Council of Palestine.
