The Yemeni army claimed on Sunday that it had seen 230 Houthi violations of the UN truce along seven fighting axes in the previous 24 hours, resulting in the death and injury of 12 of its people.
The Iranian-backed Houthi militia broke the UN truce 230 times in 48 hours (August 19-20) on the fronts of Hodeidah, Taiz, Al-Dhalea, Hajjah, Saada, Al-Jawf, and Marib, according to the Yemeni army’s information department.

According to the statement, the breaches were divided into 72 violations in the Hays axis south of Hodeidah, 41 violations in the Al-Barah axis west of Taiz, 40 violations in the west of Hajjah, and 36 violations on the fronts of the Taiz axis.
Furthermore, the Houthi militia committed 26 violations in Maribs’ south, west, and northwest, as well as 10 violations on the Al-Jawf fronts, three violations on the Al-Dhalea axis, and two violations on the Saada fronts.

According to the statement, army personnel had earlier resisted an effort by armed groups affiliated to the Houthi movement to attack military positions east of Al-Hazm in Al-Jawf Governorate.
The remaining breaches, according to the Yemeni army’s media centre, included shooting at army positions with various calibre artillery, snipers, and booby-trapped drones, resulting in the death of one army member and the injuring of 11 others.

The phrase relates to the Houthi militia’s attempts to build auxiliary roads, dig trenches, and deploy reconnaissance drones on many fronts.
