In more than 190 activities and specialised workshops offered by a group of artists and producers in the production of photo and anime books, the comic corner (comics) unites fans and lovers of books and comic stories at the 41st session of the Sharjah International Book Fair in 2022.
Workshops include a range of 16 topics with an emphasis on the Arab storytelling industry, with the goal of enhancing the young generation’s talents with all the drawing and colouring techniques, picture installation, attributing the story to a unique and alluring storyline, and many other approaches.
The “Personal Explore” workshop focuses on how to create the character and improve the details of her features, positions, and facial expressions, while the “Technical Drawing” workshop teaches participants how to draw the character in an original and condensed style. The “NFT” workshop aims to teach the method of creating graphics and converting them into digital symbols.
The “Personality Personality” workshop teaches participants the fundamentals of drawing characters by emphasising the identification of their features and the creation of a file to define and describe them. In the workshop “The Poison Victory,” participants also learn about the most crucial elements that enhance the interest of the story’s events, in addition to the idea of Shakespeare’s champion and the iceberg theory.
While the “Four Stories” session will concentrate on how to build a story with the “four paintings,” also known as “comic chains” in the West and “Yunkoma” in Japan, the “Mobile Drawing” course will discuss the methods of moving the already finished artwork.
While the “Mixing Color” workshop offers a thorough understanding of the shades of colours, their shades, hot and cold colours, and mixing arts for granting The characters are the perfect appearance, the “Graphics Coloring” workshop gives participants the chance to learn about several ways to highlight the features of the characters by colouring them using the brush and SmudGe Tools.
While the “Broccrite Program” session will learn how to draw using the available digital tools, the “Painting Installation” workshop focuses on the most significant novel ways to include the parts of the tale in the graphics, whether these elements are huge or little.
While the “Background Art” workshop focuses on how to create the ideal backgrounds to add more depth to paintings, the “Story and Painting” workshop reviews ways to draw in a simple and appealing way. It also identifies the “Digital Story Photographer” workshop on how to create digital stories (electronic books for stories) using the Brockerite application.
In order to give life to static images, the “Movement between the Paints” workshop highlights the most crucial technologies, such as movement modes, speed embodiment techniques, and sound effects. The “Water Colors” workshop teaches participants how to create a unique cover using water colours after finishing the story and drawing all of the characters.
It is notable that the “Sharjah Book Authority” prepared an exhibition that runs from November 2 through November 13 at the Sharjah Expo and welcomes visitors of all ages under the theme “Word for the World.”
