Tunisian Foreign Minister discusses with the representative of the World Food Program areas of cooperation

The new World Food Program representative in Tunisia, “Sargio Raul Balto,” and Othman Al-Jarndi, minister of foreign affairs and foreign affairs for Tunisia, explored potential areas of cooperation.

The Minister expressed appreciation for the World Food Program during the meeting and called for the expansion of the program’s projects and activities to support Tunisia’s national development priorities, particularly in the areas of combating poverty, advancing education, and enhancing the economic and social integrity of women and low-income groups.

For his part, “Balto” expressed delight in the World Food Program’s appointment of a representative in Tunisia and emphasised his determination to keep collaborating with all Tunisian institutions to meet as many of the country’s development needs as possible.
