Serbia Parliament gives the new government confidence in the majority of votes

After two days of deliberations, the Serbian lawmakers today, on Wednesday, unanimously voted to give the nation’s new formation their support.
Vladimir Orik, the speaker of the Serbian parliament, was quoted as saying today by the Russian TASS agency: “There are 225 deputies in Parliament; 157 of them voted in favour of the formation of the new government, which is the majority; 68 deputies voted against him; no one abstained from voting; and 25 deputies were absent.

The new government’s members were then sworn in after that. The current Prime Minister Anna Barnabic chaired the Serbian government..

The majority of votes in the Serbian Parliament offer the new administration its support.
