Canadian woman returning from Syria faces terrorism charges: Quebec RCMP

A Quebec woman returning from Syria will be charged with terrorism, according to the RCMP.
Four counts are brought against Oumaima Chouay: conspiracy to participate in terrorist group activity, providing goods or services for terrorism, leaving Canada to engage in terrorist group activity, and engaging in terrorist group activity.
This morning in Montreal, the RCMP will conduct a press conference to discuss the arrest.

According to a statement, the police department’s Integrated National Security Enforcement Team has been looking into Chouay since November 2014.
The Mounties detained Chouay, 27, on Tuesday evening at Montreal’s Trudeau International Airport.
She’s scheduled to be up in court in Montreal later today.
