He emphasised the necessity of concluding the border demarcation process with Azerbaijan before signing the peace treaty, adding: “Given that we decided in Prague that this be done on the basis of the 1991 borders, this may be a reasonable order, as these lines are known.

“Indicating that this “is a very critical issue, and there must be particular clear methods to preserve Armenian rights and security,” Pashinyan continued that it is essential to start a dialogue between Qara Bagh and Azerbaijan.
Pashinian spoke on the planned summit of the presidents of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan in Sochi: “Yes, I received a triple invitation from the Russian president to a meeting in Sochi on October 31.

I acknowledged my involvement, but I’m not sure if the Azerbaijani side did the same,” the adder continued. He intends to discuss a number of issues in this meeting, starting with the issue of security guaranteeing stability in the Qarah region.

Asserting his hope that this meeting would occur “as soon as feasible,” Pashinian noted that Yerevan intended to shortly ask for the holding of an emergency meeting of the Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization to discuss the situation on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

” He said that Armenia “government and people” is awaiting from the Organization of the Collective Security Treaty to provide “a clear political evaluation of what is happening, and to adopt a road map to restore Armenia’s territorial integrity. ”
