The decision to provide exceptional support for workers who lost their employment owing to the current economic crisis was announced by Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly.
According to “Madbouly,” we considered the circumstances in the private sector; as a result, we decided to set up a mechanism for businesses that struggled and stopped operating during the current period, ensuring that financial assistance is provided for their employees through June 30, 2023, subject to the non-demobilization of the businesses for this employment.
According to “Madbouly,” the Ministry of Solidarity will liaise with the Ministries of Finance and Labor to coordinate how this support will be distributed.
