The English Football Association has accused Manchester United in relation to what transpired during their match against Chelsea last Saturday at Stamford Bridge in the English Premier League’s 13th round.
The English Federation said in the statement issued today, Wednesday, that it is charged with mismanagement for Man United after the players ’behavior after Chelsea obtained a penalty in the 84th minute, and that United has the right to respond until next Friday.
After Stewart Atwell awarded the Blues the penalty kick in the dying seconds of the game, the German players launched a significant protest against him.
Both teams scored goals as the game between the two teams ended in a draw, with Gorginho scoring the opening goal for Chelsea from a penalty kick in the 87th minute and Casemiro scoring the goal for Man United in the 94th.
The English Federation is accused of acting inappropriately toward Manchester United.
