Today, on Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin received the defence minister’s report on the development of the strategic deterrent training.
The Kremlin announced the exercises of the land, sea and air strategic strategy forces led by President Putin, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, during which the ballistic missiles and an intercontinental cruise were launched, including the “Yaris” missile from the Plyteitsk satellite base, as well Kora in Kamshhatka.
The tasks involved the TU-95MS aircraft launching Cruise Joa missiles, which they did quite well.
During the exercises, the readiness of the military leadership and control bodies, command skills and operations were examined in organizing the implementation of tasks and controlling the forces.
According to the Russian media, the tasks involved in the training of the strategic deterrent forces were fully accomplished, and all of the missiles struck their targets precisely, confirming all of their unique qualities.
A remarkable fact about this training is that it is the second of its sort to take place this year. The previous one was held on February 19, five days before the commencement of the Russian military campaign in Ukraine.
The United States announced, on Tuesday, that Russia had informed it of routine nuclear training, in a move that would reduce the risk of insulting the estimate in the midst of the increasing fears that Moscow can use nuclear weapons in Ukraine.
According to a statement by the US State Department, Russia abided by the terms of agreements mandating that the US notify the continents and ballistic missiles launched from submarines.
Russia conducts this standard annual training, according to Ned Price, a spokesman for the foreign ministry.
“These notification methods include removing the surprise factor and decreasing the risk of discretion,” the statement reads. “While Russia is engaged in an unlawful attack and the launch of reckless nuclear threats.
“The United States was notified, and as we have explained before, this is an annual routine maneuver conducted by Russia.
Therefore, by providing these notices, Russia complies with its commitments linked to disarming and transparency, according to a press release from Pentagon Pentagader General Patrick Ryder.
The US and Russian defence ministers spoke twice last week, achieving a level of communication that was uncommon given the rising tensions that have existed since the beginning of the Russian military campaign in Ukraine on February 24.
Under Putin’s direction, Russian soldiers are practising launching a powerful nuclear strike.
