On Saturday, November 12, at precisely 7:30 p.m. in the party hall, fans of the 41st Sharjah International Book Fair will go on a date with the actor Karim Abdulaziz and the writer Ahmed Murad to participate in a dialogue session where they will discuss their artistic careers and discuss scenes from their works. their involvement in some of their most well-known dramatic and cinematic works.
Visitors to the exhibition can learn about the various artistic experiences that actor Karim Abdel Aziz has had, as well as how his upbringing influenced his father, the legendary director and proprietor of the longest running film studio in Egyptian cinema history, Mohamed Abdel Aziz, in terms of his decision to pursue art and specialise in directing, as well as his decision to take part in cinematic and narrative works adapted from well-known novels, such as “Blue Elephant.”
The exhibition also gives viewers access to the behind-the-scenes details of the dramatic and cinematic productions that launched Abdulaziz on the path to fame and stardom, including “Abu Ali,” “Al-Basha Student,” “Uncle’s Children,” and “Escape,” which led to his appearance in the third episode of the television series “Selection.”
The exhibition’s audience hears from novelist and screenwriter Ahmed Murad about some of the details and techniques he used to develop a notable group of novels, many of which were adapted into Arab dramatic works, including “Kira and Jin.” The mysteries of the human psyche, which was afterwards made into a film starring Karim Abdel Aziz, Khaled Al-Sawy, and Nelly Karim, among other actors, was also a work of literature.
It is noteworthy that the exhibition, which is hosted at the Expo Center from November 2–13 under the theme “Word for the World,” will welcome a number of the most well-known authors, thinkers, and artists from around the world this year within more than a thousand activities and workshops.
