Floods swept through the Khoshi district of Logar province in eastern Afghanistan, killing 20 people and injuring 30 others, according to the Afghan Tolo News channel.
According to the station, flooding destroyed or damaged almost 3,000 homes, according to the Logar security department’s press office.
Local media claimed earlier this week that floods in Parwan province in central Afghanistan had killed at least 31 people, wounded 17, and left nearly 100 people missing.
