Global investments in American Treasury bills and bonds decreased by around 70 billion dollars during the course of a year, reaching a level of 7509 billion dollars by August 2022.
In August 2021, investments were at a level of $7,578,800 billion, which means that they decreased by $69,800 billion.
At the end of August 2022, Japan’s investments in US Treasury bonds were the largest, totaling 1,199.

8 billion dollars, up from 7 billion dollars before August 2021 at 1319.
