Beijing intends to suppress any attempt to separate Taiwan

The Chinese government “would safeguard the process of reunification of the motherland” by any means, according to Ma Shiao Guang, the official representative of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Chinese State Council.

During a press conference for Queen, he said that any attempts by Taiwanese separatists to isolate Al-Jazeera from the country’s mainland will fail, indicating that the Chinese leadership “will act strictly and firmly to stop the attempts of supporters of the so-called independence Taiwan, as well as the intervention of external forces.”

He claims that China depends on Taiwanese citizens’ support in their fight for “a bright future and unifying the emerging nation,” and that “the separatists in Taiwan constitute a major obstacle to uniting the motherland,” referring to them as a “serious disease” that impedes China’s national development.

The Chinese Communist Party’s twentieth conference was held in Beijing from October 16 to 22. The membership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Central Committee to Examine the Discipline of the Chinese Communist Party was updated at the conference, and changes were made to the party’s fundamentals. Last Sunday was the first full meeting of the newly formed Central Committee, at which Secretary-General Xi Jinping of the Central Committee presided.

Taiwan has been under the rule of its own administration since 1949, when the remnants of the Kommeneng forces led by Cheng Kay Chic (1887-1975) fled to the island, after defeating the Chinese Civil War. Since that time, Taipei has maintained the previous Republic of China’s flag and several other characteristics that were prevalent on the mainland before the Communists took control.

Taiwan is one of the People’s Republic of China’s provinces, according to Beijing’s official position, which is shared by the majority of nations, including Russia.
